Green Bean Casserole with Cream of Mushroom Soup Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons butter / margarine
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 600 cc chicken broth
  • 100 grams of chicken breast, cut into cubes
  • 100 grams of edible mushroom
  • 1 leek, thinly sliced
  • 1 block instant chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 10-ounce bags frozen green beans
  • 1/3 cup milk or soy milk
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 2.8 -ounce can French-fried onions

 

Directions:

  1. Heat the margarine, then add the garlic and onions, saute until fragrant.
  2. Add flour, stir, and cook until lightly browned, then put a little chicken broth, stirring rate.
  3. Insert meat chicken, straw mushrooms, and scallions, stir, and cook until boiling.
  4. Insert the instant chicken broth, salt, pepper, and nutmeg powder, stir well and cook until everything is cooked.
  5. Mix the green beans and milk in the crock pot or slow cooker into the cream soup. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and half of the French-fried onions.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours.
  7. Top with remaining onions just before serving.
